Society1: only saw them cos the guy was going to be hung from the stage, using meat hooks which were pierced into his back. Lovely. They weren't very good in my opinion, just very. very angry shouting music. For instance one of their songs was just called 'Hate'.
Nightwish: Hate them. They came on over an hour late, and didnt even hurry up to get on, made us all listen to their shit introduction music. Pissed me off so much cos they were delaying Slipknot and System of a Down. Other than that, their music was quite cool, but both the male and female singers ruined it, both their voices were annoying. Thank God they only played 4 songs.
Slayer: watched them from a distance, i didnt think they were so bad, but cant take them seriously after watching Bill Bailey take the piss out of them on his DVD. The best bit about this set was that some crazy Slayer fan was dancing around and "air drumming" and singing in time to the music, he was scaring all the passing festival goers. It was truely hilarious.
Slipknot: i thought they were brilliant. Sounded excellent. Had flames on the stage, Joeys drum kit rose up and spun around and stuff whilst he was drumming during the gap between songs. Ah it was bloody amazing.
System of a Down: absolutely fantastic. The music was increadible, singing along was just great. The crowd was awesome aswell, just heavy moshing for the whole of their set. The only downside was that the heavy moshing made clouds of smoke rise up and it was awful to breathe in and it got in your eyes. Other than that it was the best.
